Ever after.....

The end of fairy tales is always that the male and female protagonists have lived happily ever after, and there are countless people who lament the beauty of fairy tales and the cruelty of reality! Just because, the reality is that all the time spent together has been transformed from the original romance and beauty into a pig-killing knife, which not only turns the youth into a bald or potbellied middle-aged man, but also turns those who are on the water side. Yiren has become an aunt in chai, rice, oil, salt, sauce, vinegar, and tea! Therefore, many couples have also embarked on the road of the Kramers!

Maybe it's because I feel that my age is approaching the mid-life crisis period, and I watched this movie specially today! A scene that I particularly like is a close-up of the sad, helpless and reluctant Mrs. Kramer at the beginning! As a mother of children and a person who has not worked much after marriage, I can understand her sadness and helplessness incomparably! Because I'm thinking the same thing, because we don't just want to be so-and-so's mother, so-and-so's wife, we also want to be so-and-so! Not so-and-so's so-and-so!

The dramatic ending softens the impact of the movie, which is something I don't like enough.

The courtroom scene is very sad to watch. Once both husband and wife are working hard for their own purposes, even the care and homeliness revealed in simple daily conversations become weapons! And their friends, when confronted by the lawyer's questioning, can only be reluctantly taken out of context!

However, Joanna took that step anyway, although it was so painful! Although it seems cruel to leave the child without warning! Because she knew she had to do it! Otherwise, the consequences will be unimaginable!

What a good movie, simple yet thought provoking!

Life is so complicated and difficult, everyone has something unspeakable. When Ted shook his head at Joanna on the witness stand in the dock and made a No, I suddenly felt that this man was really good. It has to do with constancy; it has to do with patience; it has to do with listening and pretending to listen when you can't even listen any more.

What I saw from Wang Haitao took a long time to drag down. When they were young, Dustin and Meryl were dead and it was not easy to raise a child. This is a universal truth. . .

Kramer vs. Kramer quotes

  • Ted Kramer: [gets out of bed] Where are you going?

    Phyllis Bernard: To the bathroom.

Ted Kramer: That's a closet. The bathroom's over there.

Phyllis Bernard: Oh, yeah. You're right.

  • Ted Kramer: You had a date. I knew it! I knew you were keeping something from me.

Margaret Phelps: Well, you know, I told you I thought he was a pretty neat guy, right.

    Ted Kramer: Right.

Margaret Phelps: So, we go to dinner.

    Ted Kramer: Yeah.

Margaret Phelps: I find out he's married, he's deep in analysis, and, get this, he starts to tell me his life story. And all I can think of, while I'm sitting there, is that I'm paying a babysitter three dollars and a quarter an hour to listen to his problems!
