You need 20 seconds of courage

I don’t know if you have ever been moved by a very ordinary movie, maybe because of a line like me, maybe because of a certain scene, or maybe because of the ending. When you think about the movie again, you find that other parts are already blurred, but the part that touched you is more and more remembered.

"My Family Bought a Zoo" is like this for me. Regarding the plot, I only vaguely remember that a man who was somewhat unsuccessful bought a zoo and began to redeem himself and save the zoo. But the line "You need 20 seconds of courage" is deeply engraved in my mind, and I believe it will have a great impact on me.

Every moment, we are faced with making decisions. Students who have watched "Lola Run" must be able to more intuitively realize that a small decision may cause a huge change. However, many times, when we are faced with a choice, we choose the easy one. For example, it is easier to give up than to insist, it is easier to acquiesce than to give an opinion, and it is easier to say "Yes" than to say "No". If, when faced with a choice, we can have 20 seconds of courage, put everything else aside and make a brave decision, will life be different?

I don't know if the results will be different, but I believe that decisions that require courage will definitely pay off more.

Damon's acting skills have been perfected. The whole movie has a brisk rhythm. There is no superfluous plot. There is no family and love. All expressions are just right, warm and inspirational. It is very comfortable to watch

  • Benjamin Mee: It is what it is.

Mr. Stevens: It is what it is. Sometimes you don't know what it is until you see what it is, you know? Once you see what it is then you can figure out what it is. You understand?

Benjamin Mee: No, but we can move on.
