The demons are a bit obvious, but overall good
. Judging demons has always been controversial. Let me give my opinion
. First of all, by feeling, the security guard, the young girl, and Tony have all gone through the process of entering the building, and they don't look like demon. Although the man in the suit also went through the program, his expression and movements were a little unnatural after entering the elevator, which made people feel that it was okay. The most suspicious thing is the old lady. She didn't follow the procedure at all, and no one spoke to her, and her face was pale, and she didn't communicate much with others, so she had no intention of escaping.
But the script is still pretty good.
Then look down. When the music was played in the elevator, the man in the suit sang a song and asked the old lady to sing along. In this way, the suspicion of the man in the suit was much less. But the old lady expressed that she was not interested in this kind of thing, and it is conceivable that now she is full of murder and revenge, although she looks like an ordinary person.
The script is good because the two most suspects die first, leaving us with more suspense. But in the last few shots, the old lady disappeared mysteriously (the old lady is still there after being put down), I don't know if it was a shooting error or deliberately. In the end, the demon (the old lady) was really shocked when she stood up. Of course, the devil didn't kill Tony in the end, maybe it was also a manifestation of human nature.
Demons are not necessarily demons, they are just souls with dissatisfaction and hatred in their hearts after death. Just like people, they exist for the purpose of revenge. Therefore, in this world, there are demons born out of hatred, angels born out of goodness, and God born out of love

Devil quotes

  • [last lines]

Ramirez: [voiceover] After my mother would finish her story, she would always comfort us. "Don't worry," she'd say. "If the Devil is real, then God must be real, too."

  • [first lines]

Ramirez: [voiceover] When I was a child, my mother would tell me a story about how the Devil roams the Earth. Sometimes, she said, he would take human form so he could punish the damned on Earth before claiming their souls. The ones he chose would be gathered together and tortured as he hid amongst them, pretending to be one of them. I always believed my mother was telling me an old wives' tale.
