Some movies need to be revisited.

Two years ago, I wrote an article about the aftermath of this movie, and I felt bad, so I deleted it. Rewatching the film today, I feel that I should post a passage that best reflects my emotions.
In fact, it's just a line, a piece of fake news made by the protagonist Alex to his dying mother, and a speech in it.

Dear citizens of the GDR:
If you had ever had such a wonderful experience observing our blue planet from far away space, things would have looked different. You will feel that human life, above it, in the boundless universe, seems small and meaningless. You ask yourself, what has humanity accomplished? What goals have they set for themselves? Which goals have they achieved? Today is our country's birthday, it's a very small country in terms of space, but there were thousands of people who came to us last year, those who used to be our enemies, who want to be with us today This lives together. We know that our country is not perfect, but what we believe in has always inspired many people around the world. Maybe sometimes we get lost in our goals, but we did think about it, what is socialism? A frog at the bottom of a well, resting on its laurels is not socialism, it is only in line with socialism that it is open-minded, facing others, and coexisting with other countries. Not just to dream of a better world, but to make it happen. So I decided to open the borders of the GDR.
Shortly after the opening of the Berlin Wall, thousands of citizens of the Federal Republic of Germany took this opportunity to make their first visit to the GDR. Many wanted to stay, and they were looking for another way to survive the fittest in a capitalist society and fight harshly. survived. Not everyone has the ambition to start a business, and the desire to consume that is as hard to fill as the abyss. Not everyone has the ability to fight to be a knife and avoid being a fish. People want another life, they find that VCRs, cars are not everything. They are ready, with good willpower, exuberant energy and immortal ideals, to achieve another life.
