What is Star Trek

The definition of "trek" as a noun on the Merriam-Webster website is: a long and difficult journey that is made especially by walking. Walking? Obviously it has reached the super-luminous warp-speed navigation, but it still has to be compared with walking. This is the vastness, the mystery, and the deepest awe of the universe. From the other side, it also shows the unyielding determination of life entities to explore the universe. This simple word has a sense of picture: a starship condensed into small white dots moves slowly on the black cosmic background that fills the whole picture, exploring every corner of the picture step by step. So I think neither "Star Trek" or "Star Trek" can accurately translate the meaning of Star Trek, and some translations (such as "StarCraft") are even very misleading. So I think it's best to use Star Trek. Understanding Star Trek literally is the first step to truly understand it.
