U.S. City Management

I didn't delve into the root cause of the incident, I just wanted to shock people again and not be forgotten. Today, with a huge amount of information, there are so many critics and so many things that have been forgotten, but there are some things that should not be forgotten.
Family, relatives, and Oscar's favorite daughter, the film spent most of the time creating a flesh-and-blood Oscar with a beautiful family, ready to start again, but it took less than five minutes to make him disappear. It is this contrast that makes what happened at Fruitwell Station unbearable.
The film starts with a mobile phone video. I don't know the background of the story, and I don't even know what happened. But as the film progressed, I saw a very kind Oscar. He loves his wife and is jokes by his friends as "preferring color to friend"; he loves his daughter, stealing her daughter’s candy, taking her daughter to brush her teeth, how many audiences’ hearts melted; he loves his mother, but only begged her for a hug while in prison for the last time In the end it was not realized. He is often misunderstood. Caring for the puppy made blood stained on his body. Misunderstood by his mother-in-law. He stopped drug trafficking and was misunderstood by his wife to smoke marijuana. He lost his job and wanted to start again, but he didn't have this opportunity. He made mistakes, but his heart was very kind. He always smiles when facing his family and friends, no one knows his meditation when he is alone. A man’s responsibilities in society were just about to be assumed, but he could no longer bear it.
I don’t think this movie highlights racial discrimination, and I believe the police who fired the gun did not intentionally. It just reminds us of what we will lose because of certain things. How to avoid recurrence behind the scenes requires everyone to think deeply.
Compared with Captain Philip, this movie does not have a full climax, but I prefer this kind of movie that can give me a deeper touch.
In addition, sometimes I wonder, Xia Junfeng’s matter might become a movie? The U.S. urban management guns are completely inferior to China's headshot "excitement". Okay?!

Looking at Oscar's body, my mother felt remorse, and it was I who told him to take the subway. Of course it's not her fault, accidents are always unavoidable. Accidents are hard to prevent, but violence can be avoided. Oscar is absolutely innocent, but in the United States where everyone can carry a gun, excessive law enforcement and even violent law enforcement caused by excessive tension are not uncommon.

With the New Year's fireworks in San Francisco, when life, family, and work are gradually coming out of the trough, at Fruitville Station, everything went downhill, and I felt a cold sense of powerlessness. The male protagonist's large pen and ink side profile depicts the accusation outside the plain narrative. Spencer is always in place as a female supporting role. True stories are shocking but restraining at the same time.

Fruitvale Station quotes

  • Sophina: What game you running now, Osc? You ain't shit, you know that? You lie to me, you lie to your fucking daughter.

Oscar Grant: I ain't had to tell your ass nothing. Food on the table, the lights still on. I could've kept getting it, and you wouldn't have known shit.

Sophina: Oh, so you would have just kept faking? And been out there bustin' knocks, and doing whatever else, or whoever else...

Oscar Grant: You say you want the truth, right? Well, you ain't even tryin' to hear me.

Sophina: [talking over each other] ... you do while I'm at work...

Oscar Grant: You're not even trying to hear me.

Sophina: Not after you lie for two weeks, get cornered, and don't have a choice. That's some pussy-ass shit. What'd you do today, huh? I bet you sold that fucking zip.

Oscar Grant: I dumped that shit, Phina. That's what I'm trying to tell you. I'm tired. Thought I could start over fresh, but... shit ain't workin' out.

Sophina: You threw a whole zip of weed out and you don't got a job? I could slap you right now.

  • Oscar Grant: [picking Tatiana up from pre-school, they race to the car] Undefeated! Undefeated! You still haven't beaten me yet. You know that, right?

    Tatiana: Eh.

    Oscar Grant: Eh.

Sophina: [after he jumps on the roof] What are you doing?

    Oscar Grant: What you mean?

Sophina: You're going to break this car!

Oscar Grant: I... it's gonna be aight. It'll be aight.

    Sophina: It's already falling apart.

Oscar Grant: I can't lose. Undefeated.

    Sophina: Daddy cheated.

    Oscar Grant: Daddy's 100 and 0.

Sophina: Big, big, big cheater. You're a cheater.

Oscar Grant: I didn't cheat. How do you know if I cheated or not? You were sitting in the car. T, Mommy's a hater.
