It was a mess while watching, me and 1 girl were watching the plate while the others were playing cards. I didn't watch it very much, so I didn't feel very good about the film. It can be summed up as follows:
1. The actor of Sayuri in childhood was so good, watching her performance completely makes people sink into the picture of the movie inside.

2. Among adults, Gong Li and Yang Ziqiong's performances are comparable, and their appearances are also very beautiful. It is Gong Li's Hatsumamo that expresses a series of emotions such as jealousy, anger, helplessness, etc. very directly, very westernized, and quite crazy from beginning to end. I don't know how Japanese women expressed their emotions in those days. I always feel that grabbing the collar of the opponent's collar, then putting my face on the opponent's face, gritting my teeth and saying a few words, letting go, getting up, and swaying away, this series of practices is really old-fashioned, maybe Japanese women, geisha It's all like that. Moreover, Hatsuma was very direct in expressing Sayuri's antagonistic emotions from the beginning, but when the scene of the fire was later, she felt that the intensity of the conflict was obviously not enough.

3. Zhang Ziyi, they all said that she acted well. Who would have guessed that she could only describe it as an understatement. Her English was not proficient enough, and the feeling from beginning to end was jerky. In fact, at the stage of her acting, Sayuri should be somewhat calm and restrained. After all, she has never eaten pork in a geisha restaurant for so many years, and she has seen pigs running for so many years.

4. The whole film feels old-fashioned. The film is a bland narrative, and there are no ups and downs. Although I don't know what will happen next, all the aftermath is unexpected, and no one worries about Sayuri's fate from beginning to end. Is it because the plot of the story is generally known in advance? Even so, there should be something touching or shocking. If I had to say one thing, it would be Sayuri's smile in childhood. Originally, I thought I could see the almost inhuman competition and intrigue between geisha, but it didn't. After all, this is not the point of the film. The point of the film is that Sayuri hides her emotions and works hard to meet her sweetheart. It should be able to see the difficult process of how a girl became a geisha. After all, geisha is still quite mysterious in many people's hearts. Many people still want to use this film to understand geisha, but after watching it, it is still no better than you. I know a lot before, but it didn't satisfy my curiosity at all, disappointed! Anyway, without seeing how hard Zhang Ziyi worked, it is quite logical to become the number one geisha in Japan. After all, Gong Li started bullying her with ulterior motives when she came to the geisha shop. She had already told people that this child would definitely be the eldest among the geishas in the future, anyway, it would definitely be in the future, so She doesn't have to film how hard she works.

5. The plot of Hatsumi's arson and Sayuri's "virgin" dance in the film should be quite important. As I said before, the arson is not very deep, but this "virgin" dance is quite profound, as soon as she comes on stage, she has long hair and big white. The face, the whole is Dou E's grievance, this dance is okay to watch now, and it was too postmodern in that era. This plot is too blunt, and it is completely "scaring" for the sake of "sensation". As a result, in the film, Sayuri became famous after "scaring" people.

6. The filming was very tense, and the viewers panicked. It was like a geisha wearing a kimono, walking on wooden sandals, and trotting for two hours. Then, the film was over and the story was finished. I looked at each other with the people watching the movie together, oh, is this the end? A series of plots were laid out in two hours, but the description of the characters' hearts is generally too little. I always feel that the film is missing a lot of things. Maybe it's as many people say, this is the difference between the East and the West, hehe.. This is an oriental story shot for Westerners.
