"Surface Article"

Getting an outsider to make a film that reflects Japanese culture is like getting a lion to copulate with a tiger — you could end up with a liger, but it's not exactly the same thing. "Memoirs of a Geisha" is like this. Although it has a beautiful and gorgeous setting, Zhang Ziyi, Gong Li and Michelle Yeoh's performances are not too bad, but at heart, this is not a film about Japan or about a geisha. Japan and geisha are just scratches on the surface of this film, and its core is still a cliché and powerless love story. From the very beginning, this story has only two choices: touching and not touching. This is very similar to the geisha shown in the movie, who is either taken care of by a man who does not love, or taken care of by a man who loves. No matter how amazing you are, in the end you still can't escape the end of your care. The first half of the movie was good, but unfortunately after the war, the movie didn't end. The whole part after the war is suspected of being deliberately stretched, and the last kiss in the water pavilion, I don't know who is the actor or actress who has bad breath, the two kissed very hard.
