Inman follows the call to come home from Ada, a distant cold mountain. Time and time again, he won his life back from the hand of death; time and time again, he killed the enemy in front of him; finally returned to his hometown and to his lover's side. This is the belief in love, the power of faith.
And life always repeats inadvertently. Ada's mother and his father spent twenty-two months together before leaving them, but these twenty-two months were enough to engrave a lifetime of happiness and beauty for his father. . Maybe the prophecy will really come true, and fate really cannot escape. "I marry you" can become a husband and wife by meditating three times. The love between two people who deeply love each other in this era of war seems to have stopped all the hustle and bustle at this moment. This may be the best moment of my life. The Civil War separated two young people thousands of miles apart, causing them to face hunger, cold and even death. The ending of the movie reminds me of "Gladiator". Maybe the reason to live is to realize one's own beliefs; "Braveheart" seems to be the same, but it is not so obvious. Freedom is the belief that Wallace fought for all his life. After walking through the mountains and rivers, I suddenly realized that I am really so small, maybe my fate is really unstoppable.
