I like it very much, I don't like it, no matter how good it is, I can't like it

After watching Kung Fu Panda 3, I suddenly felt that I should add my late review for the return of the Great Sage. Because of the contrast, I felt even more emotional. Compared with the seemingly down-to-earth failed works that are wrapped with Chinese elements but still have foreign spirits inside, I miss the chance of the return of the great sage even more.

In all fairness, I don't like Kung Fu Panda very much, or I don't like all the banana movies, the kind of films that seem to be down-to-earth wrapped in Chinese cultural elements are actually just failed works like Hua Mulan. This one is no exception, but I can't deny that in China's impetuous animation film market, even this one can't keep up. The special effects are good, the plot is smooth, and the funny atmosphere is also very good. It is almost the best choice for a family movie. But personally, I can't find any resonance in it. . .

I haven't watched Kung Fu Panda 12, I just watched 3 directly, but it doesn't affect the viewing, and this is also the most prominent Chinese element among the 3 films, and it is the most suitable for the taste of Chinese audiences. It is the best one to watch. After watching it I don't think it's a disadvantage, at least the special effects are worth the ticket price, which is much better than most Chinese movies.

In fact, I prefer purely foreign animated films, such as The Lion King and Mouse Lai Bao, to the animated films that add a lot of Chinese elements to the Chinese audience. That's right, in my opinion, the former is better than the mouse Laibao and Kung Fu Panda released at the same time. The reason is very simple, because it is pure, because it is native, the people who make these movies have been influenced by American culture from birth, and they also make American animated movies, so it can finally reflect the pure American flavor.

What Kung Fu Panda lacks is this pureness, with Chinese elements, but it is not a Chinese movie after all. This is something that cannot be achieved even if the director is Chinese, because she is Chinese after all, not Chinese, so it will be strange for the audience to see the Chinese elements in the movie. I don't know what kung fu looks like in the eyes of foreigners, but I felt awkward when I saw this scene, and I couldn't bear to look directly at it. . .

There is also a master turtle when he is fighting against the gods like the bull demon king, his moves are very smooth, as smooth and beautiful as calligraphy, but I just think it is a bit deliberate, it seems that Chinese elements can only be linked to kung fu ╮(╯▽ ╰)╭... Even calligraphy has to be plugged in.

Maybe many people will think that I am a bit harsh on Kung Fu Panda, after all, compared to many animated films, especially China, it is really good. But I want to say that no one dislikes pure things. Rather than just complimenting the excellence of Kung Fu Panda, I would prefer to see a Chinese animated film that makes me even happier than the return of the Great Sage. It is truly down-to-earth. Understand what Chinese elements are. The Chinese elements are invisible and intangible. It is not like adding ingredients and calling it spicy, eating steamed buns, and kung fu with qigong. Instead, every character has Chinese culture inside, and standing there is like a Chinese person.

Such a movie, even if the characters walk in the American background, let us clearly understand that it is about a Chinese movie, not a movie with Chinese elements.

ps: I was bored in the car. I remembered that someone I was watching with me had already written a movie review. After reading his review, I was moved. I've always been a bit of an emotional cleanliness person, maybe I'm asking too much for sheer stuff. But I don't think there's anything wrong with that. What I like is destined to be liked very much, no matter how good I don't like it, I don't like it, this is my pureness.

The overall score is three and a half stars, Chinese style is dominant, landscape paintings, calligraphy, plus the translation of "Benbao" written by "advance with the times", it is indeed a very suitable family movie to watch during the Spring Festival. One of the great advantages of DreamWorks is that it is good at creating the unique character of each character. As a joyful cartoon, the film is doing its best to make every scene full of joy. Even the only villain is a idiot with a 250 spirit. .
