A great feminist film.
I didn't expect it to be filmed by a male director.
In fact, there is no need to look at this 91-year-old film with the eyes of 30 years later. The male police officer who tried to save them is indeed a failure, but it is harmless and it is a remnant of patriarchal consciousness. It would be much more moving to be a female police officer.
Both actresses are in great shape! I like the outfit inside! !
The first half of Thelma was really annoying, her posture was cringe, ignorant and irresponsible; after the second half changed, her whole person stretched out tall and straight, sassy and arrogant, and when she smiled, it was especially beautiful with dimples!
I liked Louise the whole way, but unfortunately the second half was blurred in order to set off Thelma's transformation. She is bold and confident, she has learned a lot of things after going up and down, and behind her cheerful smile is a memory that is so painful that she doesn't want to reveal it again, which is distressing.
The two of them are the epitome of countless women who were bullied and humiliated by men, but they did what they all wanted to do—revolt back! Let them also pay for their wretched, nasty, disgusting behavior!
In the end, the two of them looked at each other and smiled in the car, stepped on the accelerator, and jumped towards the cliff. The scene is so touching! ! Women's friendship, firm and brave!
