we need to talk about Kevin

This is a movie that makes you think about it. What the hell happened to Kevin? Why did Kevin become like this? Is this Kevin's fault? Of course, everyone has different opinions. I think, "In the beginning, human nature is inherently evil." Without good education and guidance, what grows over time is not human, but animal.
Eva, who likes to play around, is pregnant. Although after thinking, she decides to settle down, but this accident does end her happy life. Little Kevin cried non-stop since he was born, and when he grew up, he did not worry at all. He glared at his mother Eva all day long, made trouble everywhere, destroyed his mother's room, even blinded his sister's eyes, and finally killed him. all. Omg, is this still a kid? Just a devil!
But don't forget, this is a movie that recalls Kevin's past from the perspective of his mother, Eva, that is to say, all this is just Eva's subjective opinion. Is that really the case? I don't think so.
Let's start with the name, "we need to talk about Kevin". We need to talk about Kevin, it's like Eva saying to the audience, "Let's talk about this kid and see what he's done." I don't understand, because they only saw Kevin's no wind and waves, but they didn't see the source of all this.
At the beginning of the film, the newborn Kevin was crying non-stop. The mother Eva suppressed her irritability and tried her best to face Kevin with a smile. She seemed to have worked hard, but Kevin's cry did not weaken at all. It was an unpleasant, but normal beginning; at the same time, the beginning of this dark story.
Eva seemed very conscientious and tried to show the child a smile. But a child is a thinking individual. When he is very young, he may hear different languages, but he can feel emotions. In the patience shown by Eva, it is more "acceptance" than love for the child, just accepting the arrival of the child.
Little Kevin gradually grew up in the "responsibility" of his mother. When Eva was really ready to be a mother, or when he began to "feel emotional" to Kevin, Kevin had become accustomed to the indifference in his mother's heart. He is more rebellious than the average child. Some people think that he has no love. I just think that he is expressing it in his way to attract the attention of his mother, and he is desperate.
Obviously, Kevin loves his mother. When Kevin is sick, he becomes extraordinarily normal; because he is vulnerable when he is sick, he will unconsciously release his inner emotions and needs for his mother. All his grievances came back.
The newborn sister was born with aphasia, and received all the love. Kevin, who only wanted to attract the attention of his mother, became more complicated. Apart from complaining about his mother, Kevin was disappointed with everyone. When the accident happened, Eva thought that Kevin had blinded his sister's eyes, and he did not deny it, which also proved that he had given up any hope for his parents' trust. (Personally, this episode also shows that more people only pay attention to physical defects and injuries, but not to mental health. Although the little girl is disabled, it can make everyone work hard to show her the beauty of the world. Obviously, she's happier than Kevin.)
The decision to send Kevin to the military made him feel abandoned by the entire family. It also obscured the meaning of his existence, leaving only the grudge against his mother still persistent, which prompted the ending to happen.
In the end, Kevin shot and killed everyone with the bow and arrow that his father gave him. But he is also proving in an abstract way that now he can't see anyone except his mother.
After losing everyone, Eva's despair made me feel the peace after the storm. For this ending, such a son, she still chose to accept it. But in the face of everyone's exclusion and making things difficult, Eva showed a mother's real patience and affection for her son, part of love, part of inability to let go of the last trace of fetters.
The mother's persistence also brought Kevin's relief. When Eva finally asked him, "Why do you do this?", Kevin replied, "I used to think I knew. Now I'm not sure. I used to think I knew, but now I'm not sure. "This sentence is indescribable.
What I tried so hard to find and prove in the past has become meaningless when I recall it many years later. Most of the time, the impulse is caused by the influence of the environment. Changes in the environment, changes in mentality, blurred the state of mind at that time. Let the once persistent, become absurd.
