The film's biggest flaw is probably the mother's point of view rather than Kevin's point of view. It's more like a description of "this mother is so miserable and pitiful because of a neurotic son".
As the biggest victim of the entire film, why did Kevin become a pervert who could lock his classmates in the gym and shoot them to death one by one? The film seems to describe too little.
My mother didn't give correct guidance to Kevin's illness, but dealt with it in a perfunctory and impatient manner. "Wait to get through this semester", but they failed to persevere.
The whole movie is filled with discordant soundtracks, and the flashbacks are getting clearer and clearer, as if the mother's heart is collapsing step by step. (Although I saw Mr. Gu Yi was a bit of a drama.) In the last scene of Kevin locking his classmates in the gym and shooting them to death, I really couldn't breathe.
There are probably still many children, lacking parental care, step by step, will become Kevin
