Love me, just wait for me for two years

I watched the Korean version, and in the end one died.
The American version always has a warm and happy ending.
But at the end I was still a little suspenseful.
All in all, it's still very warm, a little sweet.
However, there are some details that do not stand up to scrutiny.
Overall it's a good movie.
Keno Reeves is a little bit old.
Ditto for Sandra Bullock's question.
However, the two seem to be a good match.
Perfect for sitting quietly on the sofa with a cup of tea.
Leisurely, comfortably.
When two people's time is two years apart, when love is separated by the ocean of time.
You took me for a walk two years ago with me two years later.
You leave a memory-filled sweet note on the wall.
You gave me a tree to shelter me from the wind and rain two years ago.
I can only wait two years from now for your super romantic extra long dinner reservation.
Love is so real and unreal, within reach and out of reach.
Should I keep believing or should I just let go?
Can we hold hands together across the ocean of time?
Maybe we are doomed to miss.
Maybe all we need is to wait.
Well, please wait for me for two years.

The Lake House quotes

  • Alex: [after he saw her at the subway station in 2004] I don't know if you remember but, we saw each other. That is, I saw you. You never told me... how beautiful you were.

Kate: Well, maybe you saw someone else. That was a bad hair year for me.

Alex: Long brown hair, gentle unguarded eyes...

Kate: OK, OK. You saw me. But I still don't know what you look like.

  • Kate: It was you. Why didn't you tell me?

Alex: You would've thought I was crazy or drunk. Or both.
