I have to admire the screenwriters in Hollywood, who can add more branches and leaves to a simple love sketch and make a delicious dessert. Hollywood has always liked romantic movies like this, so this time was no exception. Abandoned the pure and beautiful style of the original version,
but I still like it. There are many plots that are no longer so ridiculous. For example, when I watched the original version, I was always there. Did the hero have a terminal illness and couldn't come? (Influenced by Korean dramas), seeing that the heroine behind is begging the hero to stop his boyfriend and was killed by a car, such an arrangement is both abrupt and incomprehensible. In the US version, this arrangement seems reasonable. And the director's narration is smoother than the Korean version. Added a lot of small plots. It looks a lot better.
But the Korean version wins in the aesthetic style, which is something that Hollywood can't shoot.
So my friend asked me whether the Korean version is better or the US version.
My answer is: one is Chinese painting, the other is watercolor painting, see which one you like!
