Whimsical about the intent of the film

I didn't watch the first one, I just watched the second one.

To tell the truth while watching the movie, I thought it was an environmental film (no joke and serious) because on the one hand, I might have been thinking a little wrong, on the other hand, the Quiet Place might remind me of Silent Spring? Now, I'm going to start talking nonsense: 1. The monster in the movie doesn't give me the impression that it is exactly a predator, but more like a hunter. The monsters in the movie only kill people but don’t eat people (no shots of eating people are given, of course, they may go back to eat them after killing them), but the overall impression to me is that its goal does not seem to be to satisfy one’s stomach, it seems to be more To purge humans. 2. Monsters are sensitive to human voices, including some artifacts that can represent the voices of human existence. Of course, it is not to mention that it is sensitive to human voice. ①In the part where the heroine goes outside to get medicine, the heroine hides in the sound of rain, and the monsters hear the sound of rain and other sounds of nature appearing to be accustomed to it. For example, the sounds of insects, cicadas and other animals in the movie are very unusual. Loud sound, but none make it sensitive. ②At the end, the male protagonist and the eldest daughter honk their horns to attract the monster, and the monster is quickly attracted by the sound of the car, indicating that it has a certain sensitivity to it. Thus, I came to my strange conclusion. Monsters are not sensitive to the sounds of nature (rain, cicadas), but are sensitive to the sounds of human existence. This seems to say that humans are not natural in the eyes of monsters, because we not only let those noisy human voices, car sounds, engineering The sound of operation fills the surrounding environment, and it seems to overshadow and overstep nature. Nowadays, it is difficult for us to hear the sound of pure nature, more or less the sound of human existence. Human beings have a certain degree of influence on nature, and nature will create such monsters to eliminate humans. (It's a bit sci-fi...because this setting is also quite common...)

It's just my naive opinion, I think the crew actually just made a thriller... But I really had such a strange idea when I watched it...
