A gambler's salvation is only by continuing to gamble

This film refreshed my understanding of gambling, luck and card skills are not important. Psychological probability, including acting, are the qualities of a genius gambler. Gambling is a social activity but life is yours. It never matters what kind of cards you have, what matters is who you bet against and how you bet. And winning is not the end. I thought the loss of a girlfriend and a great future in the high pillars of debt would put Damon on another path to redemption. Then he chose to gamble.

I have always liked genius-themed movies like "Genius Catcher" and "Rain Man". The professor told Damon a story when he lent him money. I secretly rejoiced in my heart. After seeing the old routine, Damon must have paid back the money to change his past, and then went back to the law school to win everyone’s recognition with his wonderful debate. With his repentance, he regained his girlfriend's heart. At the end of the day, I will give you a tough lesson on bugs. However, the plot is very different from what I expected. Such a beautiful female ticket is gone. In the end, I went to Las Vegas to continue gambling. From that, there is nothing inspiring about this article. I think what the director wants to tell you may be another philosophy of life, that is, the only way to save a gambler is to keep gambling

Rounders quotes

  • Worm: [to Roman and Maurice, chastising them for deliberately speaking Russian to each other while playing poker] You wanna see the seventh card, stop speaking fucking sputnik! I'm sure you guys were talking about Pierogies and snow but let's cut that out.

  • Worm: [Pretending to be a sore loser at the college fraternity game] Like my uncle Les used to say "When the money is gone, it's time to move on". So enjoy it, you secret handshaking assholes.
