fireworks in rome

Read it in one go. Compared with the drama films I have watched in the past two years, this one is more profound. The thugs of the chaotic delivery room revolution, the delicate daily life, the complicated scheduling of the firefighting in the mountains and forests, and the shooting is also beautiful, and after the wildfires burn out, it looks even more lush.

Compared with this one, the black and white of the Cold War is a bit rough and fierce. In fact, the extraction of colors allows us to see a lot of details, the shape of the objects, and the arrangement of the composition. So this casual cut a few pictures, it is the superior work of photography. And a large number of long shots in the film are also perfect, long shots are often used wide-angle to cover more details, and the eyes are full of daily triviality and complexity.

The feminist accusations and political revolutions (perhaps the director wanted to express simplicity and restraint) did not attract my attention too much. What moved me even more was the mutual sympathy of the two women, the pervasive tenacity and vitality, and finally the waves pushed them to snuggle together. The maid said the words hidden deep in my heart, really. I am very moved, this is more shocking than a thousand revolutions, brighter than ten thousand suns.

But all in all, it’s a bit too rational. I know that no film is irrational, but the overall presentation of Rome is more rational. The development of events and the connection of the shots are all too precise and perfect, not as impulsive as the Cold War. Blowing sand rolls, all mountains and rivers. But I still like it, it's my favorite in the past two years.
