female hymn

3.4/5.0 The film's celebration of the female figure is thorough. It has a very high standard in audio-visual language. In terms of photography, combined with "Children of Man", this film is different from all the long shots of Cuaron's previous works; and the film has established a rich sound effect narrative system with almost no soundtrack.

The film recreates and rebuilds the old Roman community that was destroyed after the "Mexico City 85 Earthquake". The film spends huge sums of money to rebuild several disappeared neighborhoods, just to present a silhouette of a nanny's life in the last century, which in itself is "movie magic". Greatness.

The film establishes a highly clear photographic motif in interior and exterior photography, especially in exterior scenes, the film presents a treadmill schedule like a "walking city", and successfully paved the way for the two most amazing moments in the latter part of the film;

This film is also an "auditory VR film". The film uses panoramic sound effects to present possibly the richest and most complex street sound effects and sound field changes in film history.

In terms of text, the film has a completely different perspective from the previous "Scar Narrative" works. It is a "discourse subversion" of the existing scar narrative system since "Official Statement": it depicts in detail the background of the "social movement society". The various specific sources of injury, and the "bridging and contrasting of pain levels" presents specific issues such as "invisible injuries from the upper classes" and "the demise of aboriginal culture"; the film is by no means about "sisterhood across classes" The so-called feminist film; the plot of the latter part of the film is slightly arranged, and the ending is too light.
