Politics is the means by which the elites absorb economic interests, and a coup is a game played by various forces to ensure their own interests. Justice can only be achieved by standing in the ranks of those in power. The truth you know is just that those in power want you to know the truth.
This is the biggest insight after watching "Assassination of Kennedy". Kennedy advocated the withdrawal of troops from Vietnam, which harmed the interests of the majority of the forces. For this reason, several of the largest power agencies in the United States jointly planned the assassination of Kennedy. In order for the next president to become their puppet, they advocated the Vietnam War and shot to kill the soon-to-be-elected. The brother of Kennedy who had withdrawn.
Garrison has a large amount of evidence and is gradually approaching the truth. However, the intelligence agencies have already monitored him, and key witnesses are threatened with death and are reluctant to testify in court. With the murder of witnesses, the mutiny of team members, the loss of evidence, and the threats to family members and himself, the film reaches a climax, and at the same time shows Garrison's unyielding fighting spirit and belief in fighting for justice. Even if he produced evidence of Kennedy's murder in court, the members of the jury were all beneficiaries of interests, and in order to safeguard their own interests, Crenshaw was acquitted. The ending tells us that justice is no match for politics, and that we will face a road full of thorns if we want to uphold justice.
End credits: I would like to dedicate this film to people with ideals. This is not a kind of helplessness, after all, the purpose of this film is to tell us to stick to our ideals.
