Jesse, a poor family in the movie, is often harassed by bad kids at school. Bullied and mocked, he likes to draw and paint the world of his own imagination. The newly transferred Riley is independent, full of passion and imagination. They are neighbors and classmates. Jesse and Riley gradually become good friends.
