Before I saw the movie "Prison Life" I thought it was a simple movie about struggling to make a living in prison, but the screenwriter and director gave each character a family in the movie, even in the prison where violence is rampant and everything in order to survive once joined Everything on this theme seems so warm. Between survival, life, and family, the movie makes every character's words and deeds always seem so understandable. When my wife told Wade that she was fed up and didn’t want to wait any longer, I didn’t think she was unfeeling or even thought she was a bit strong; when John showed his arm card tattoo, you would feel that it was the coolest tattoo; when in prison The sheriff himself threatened the perpetrator after his son was hit, and when he finally cried by the car, all he felt was what he had done for life.
After watching the movie, I wonder whether the director is a person who focuses on family or career. I think if a director who is really family-oriented in his heart would not want to touch movies with this theme, maybe Those who value career more will want to make this kind of film to express some of his views. I am very envious that the screenwriter can write such a script, put all the family love, family loyalty, affection, prison violence, survival and life in a simple prison story. If I could write such a script, it would be great.
While watching this movie, I was also asking myself whether my family or career is more important. In fact, when I think about it, asking myself is like asking a beggar on the street: "Hey, I’ll ask you a question. Are you focusing on your family or your career?".
