Battlefiled

I always have a soft spot for movies with musical elements, so much so that I don't know if I'm watching a movie or listening to a series of music. New York, it's a battlefiled, full of money, business opportunities, wars, blood and sweat, prosperity and temptation. In my opinion, to a certain extent, from a certain perspective, it is like Beijing in China. How many Beidrifts live in the basement, nibbling on bread, eating instant noodles, and crowding the bus. Maybe I exaggerate that scene, but At least that kind of hard work is similar. Whether it is New York or Beijing, despite the different races, cultures, languages, and thinking, they have one thing in common, that is, people's desire to succeed, which is reflected in people's thirst for opportunities everywhere... The line "Come on! This is New York!" in the film expresses endless possibilities, and I think that's what has always supported the strugglers - hope (or opportunity). Noting is impossible in New York. I think this is the most charming place in the city!
Day - the flow of people, high-rise standing, the Empire State Building glass windows reflect the dots;
night - the neon flashes, the luxury is permeated, and the heavy traffic stretches the light track.
The city is so "tall" that it has become a social scene for celebrities; the city is also so "poor and poor" that everywhere those bleak backs can be seen sprouting from their heads, forming a pool of smoke circles.
New York, this city can tell too much... The
strugglers look out in loneliness, hesitate in the look, and be strong in the hesitation. This is the growth of a "fighter" given to a "battlefield".

Begin Again quotes

  • Dan: That's some song you got there. I promise you it could be a big hit. Plus you're beautiful.

Gretta: I'm sorry, what's beauty got to do with anything?

Dan: Jesus, you're tricky, aren't you?

  • Gretta: I told you, I write songs from time to time.

Dan: What do you write them for?

Gretta: What do you mean what for? For my pleasure. And for my cat.

Dan: Oh really? Does he like them?

Gretta: She. Yes, she seems to.

    Dan: How do you know?

    Gretta: Because she purrs.

    Dan: Maybe she's booing.

Gretta: No, she purrs at Leonard Cohen, too, and she has very good taste.

Dan: Maybe she's fucking with you.
