What are the easily missed details of "Isle of Dogs"?

Put a place that I am very concerned about first? ? ? ! ! !

………………emmmm? ? ? ?

After reading a circle of movie reviews, it seems that I and others are watching two movies.. From a personal point of view, I like this movie very much..

There are some different understandings. I think it may be that there are no subtitles in the Japanese part... Then the audience is very confused and thrown into the dog's perspective and doesn't know what the little boy is there.. (There are many places that have both English, Japanese and Chinese eyes really don't know where to put them)

My understanding: The little boy actually likes Dian Dian very much, but because of family constraints, he cannot love Dian Dian as a family member. Employer's, love here = love of relatives and friends) ← This, the flashback part of the little boy before, when he was adopted in a car accident and then assigned a guard dog, when he reached out and was stopped by the housekeeper; and later confided, Said that the love for the little boy will always be in the bottom of my heart..

His simple command to the other dogs, (because he has no way to communicate with the dog except for the receiver... the receiver of Dot was not around at the time) Here's a detail: are they obsolete at first? Glass stack? There, the little boy gave simple and rude orders. The chief refused to surrender and stayed outside alone. When the other four "communicated" with the little boy, he said, I can only help him when he says he needs help. (the gist is this... a bit unclear in the cinema) and then after throwing the rubber tube, the little boy gave him a bath...

My understanding is that the little boy should feel that this is built on both sides? Willing? On the basis of... Rather than "tame", I prefer to understand it as wanting to respect the chief.

He is the only one who has traveled thousands of miles to rob a plane and fly to a remote garbage island in order to save his dog. He also loves Diandian, but he can't show it... But since he has one specially prepared for Diandian Looking at his bag is a very important place in his heart.. Then he said chief, when the relationship between the two of them was "bad" before, the chief obviously cared about the little boy very much. Every time he saw him, he pretended to be Zuo was digging the soil, and the little boy thought that Dian was not there. When he was flying the plane and was about to leave, he first glanced at the four little friends, and then gave him the last look. He pretended to be slicing paper balls... (It can be understood that he is disgusted go straight...

In terms of details...

The mayor seems to be a dog lover... It seems that only the housekeeper really hates dogs...

The part where the mayor listened to Professor Watanabe's plan while taking a bath.. The last dog's demise plan.. It was the housekeeper who came to take it away.. (Is this implying that he is the final boss?

The statue with the cage at the end, I prefer to commemorate... not to say that the little bit died.. Or "house arrest" him, should it be enshrined in the shrine with the highest courtesy? The statue is supposed to commemorate such an accident, and there really was a garbage island where the dog died...

This film is much better than my general impression after watching the trailer... I was pleasantly surprised..

There may be misunderstandings in some places that I didn't hear or see clearly... Wait for the right time to brush it again.. Some places are handled as "reasonable, unexpected" and it feels good... For example, I began to think that there was a tragedy. For example, I saw the cage, and then the dogs sat on the sorting cable car? to the incineration plant? And when I see the cage statue, I feel... No... … |||| Aside from all kinds of metaphors, I think a good animation is one that can be enjoyed by different age groups. Age group fun I'm more willing to believe that the story gave them a fairy tale ending.

(Haiku is really good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Isle of Dogs quotes

  • Spots: I've become the leader of a group of outcasts that depend on me for their survival, and I'm going to be a father. With deepest sadness and humility, I must ask you to relieve me of the duties of my position, effective immediately.

Chief: You son of a bitch! If we don't drown, I'm gonna strangle you myself. I don't care how many exploding teeth you try to spit out at me. Do you have any idea what that little pilot just went through to try to rescue you? How dare you?

  • [first lines]

Jupiter: Ten centuries ago, before the Age of Obedience, free dogs roamed at liberty, marking their territory. Seeking to extend its dominion, the cat-loving Kobayashi Dynasty declared war and descended in force upon the unwary four-legged beasts. On the eve of total canine annihilation, a child warrior sympathetic to the plight of the besieged underdog dogs, betrayed his species, beheaded the head of the head of the Kobayashi clan, and pledged his sword with the following battle-cry haiku. I turn my back - on man-kind! He would later be known as the Boy Samurai of Legend, RIP. At the end of the bloody dog wars the vanquished mongrels became powerless house-pets: tamed, mastered, scorned. But they survived and multiplied. The Kobayashis, however, never forgave their conquered foe.
