"The Battle of Tomorrow", which has a mediocre reputation, despite the persuasion of many people, I still chose to go to the cinema to see it. Lower expectations for films, often with unexpected gains.
As a sci-fi blockbuster, big characters are a bit difficult for this film to bear. Although the links and the configuration of the storyline are interesting, but the progress of the whole story, I feel confused in the needs of various logics. Speaking of which, the overall collocation of the actors is quite good. It is enough for me to see Star-Lord himself, and the appearance of the old drama bone JKSimmons is basically a bonus egg, and it looks quite happy.
After watching this film, all the confusion is stuck in logic.
One is the timeline, work line, character relationship line and other necessities, including the attitude of the male protagonist when he sees his daughter in the future world, which is inexplicable to me. If there is no such thing in front of him, this man will choose to live a decadent life and cheat. Then all of this, in fact, without experiencing these difficulties in front of him, I feel that it is difficult for a person to make a big change. Logically speaking, the decadence and derailment that happened have already happened, but they will not change because of his seven-day trip. Maybe the seven-day trip is the reason for him to seek his own value and be unruly. Otherwise, before going to the future world, he was the image of a good man, so why did this later change come about? My daughter's casting and attitude are basically confusing, and it feels unreasonable, which also leads to various relationship lines that are not very good-looking.
Another logic is emotional logic. I feel that for one person to change, how many people can be changed by the butterfly effect, this topic and chain reaction, in fact, the script of this film is regarded as not seen, and I jumped over to play it directly, which is also to save trouble. Without the complicated memory and emotional changes, you can play whatever you want.
A sci-fi movie with a messy timeline is still pretty awesome. Most movies can pass the overall level, but there are one or two places where the logic fails. The time logic of this movie is chaotic throughout, so messed up that my calculation model feels deeply unreliable.
There is also a witty alien monster at the end of the film. I thought that alien monsters had no brains, but they had some strength. The children of the future spent so much time, energy and mind fighting for so long, but there was no progress. The society is still going backwards desperately. The thief captured the king first, found the end point smoothly, and broke the key, so the world was at peace. Okay, you have the final say when it comes to fighting monsters. We are an amazing generation.
The whole movie is not good-looking, but I insist on watching it, and I can't pick out any unhappy parts. The logic does not affect the perception, but only the thinking, so everything that should be tiled is no problem. It's really okay to watch it for fun.
For people who are more demanding and not as tolerant as me, they really don't watch it if they don't watch it. And I have been brave enough to enjoy it.
