After watching "Before Tomorrow", I have a question. Why are the alien creatures portrayed in a series of movies such as "Andy's Game" and "Lost in the War" all ant-shaped social organizations?
Ant-type organization refers to the organization of eusocial animals, including all ants, some species of bees, Hu Feng, termites, etc., and among mammals, only naked mole rats belong to this category. "Eusociality" is a biological proper noun, English called eusociality. It is not quite the same as what we often call "sociality". Any interaction between biological individuals can actually be regarded as a certain degree of social activity, such as the activities between us humans. But "true sociality" refers to a very special state of existence, and there are four criteria: first, a large number of individuals gather to form a community, and individuals live together for a long time; second, only a small number of individuals in the group Possess reproductive ability; Third, in a group, there are individuals who have lived for more than one generation, often two or three generations in the same house; Fourth, in a group, members will collectively maintain the safety and order of the group and take care of their offspring together.
(The above is excerpted from Wang Liming's theory of evolution)
My few questions:
1. Is it because such an organization is powerful? In line with society's yearning for power?
2. Such an organization does not consider individual demands at all, does it not violate the individual freedom of modern society?
3. Could it be that the powerful reproductive capacity of such an organization is beyond the reach of contemporary modern humans?
4. Is it the real desire of human beings that a large number of human beings live together?
