What more can you expect from a special effects action movie

After the exam, it is indeed a good choice to use such adrenaline movies to decompress. It doesn't take much brains. But as a film adapted from a novel, the plot setting is not so brainless that it humiliates the audience's IQ. Needless to say, the development of the plot, the growth history of the little people to the big heroes, the arrangement is quite satisfactory, but with the support of the real people's lives, it will not be outrageous. In addition, the characterization is still flesh and blood. The actors are basically not big names, but everyone's performances can convey emotions. The bravery and strength of the Lincoln couple, I praise one. Physically, both Lincoln and Henry are handsome. Although it is said that boys are reserved in the cinema, I clearly think that such a movie with a seductive actor and an unsexy heroine is obviously more feminine.
In terms of special effects and editing, finally the director of "Wanted" did not disappoint. Although it is necessary to make a comparison, because the time span of the script is too long to keep the plot compact, it will inevitably lead to a part of the plot. But in general, the arrangements are quite appropriate, and the occasional thrillers and surprises also keep the audience from being idle. Several montages are still very good, such as pocket watches and trains. But my favorite is the swing of Lincoln's axe. The picture is broken into two halves, and a narrow street is split in the middle. The rapid turning of the picture also drives the sudden turn of the plot. Several high-flying fight scenes are also in place. Gunma looked a little dizzy and didn't know what the 3D effect would be. Lincoln wielding an axe in slow motion is really nice! Sure enough, cold weapons can best release that primitive desire for violence. The tacit cooperation with black people on the train is also very stylish. The boss's death is a bit abrupt but there are enough surprises.
With Mr. Lincoln's own classic speech, there are still many bright spots in the lines. The idea that everyone is a slave is not new, but it is appropriate. And those paragraphs summarise the nature of history quite delicately. History likes legend and dislikes blandness. Vampires and the Civil War are not new teas, but this film still cooks up a bit of its own.
I haven't heard enough of the linkin park song at the end of the credits! The blood-stained map of the United States is gorgeous.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter quotes

  • Will Johnson: [entering the store, with his back to Lincoln] A stock boy reading a law book. What? Studying to be a lawyer?

Abraham Lincoln: As a matter a fact, I am.

Will Johnson: Alright, what about a little test? What's the law for free slaves in the north?

Abraham Lincoln: According to the Fugitive Slave Act of 1793, Enforcing Article 4, Section 2 of the United States Constitution: "All runaway slaves must be returned to their owners." However, personal liberty laws state that: "Anyone born free cannot be taken under this act."

Will Johnson: [turning slowly] I heard a good woman once say, "Until we are all free, we're all slaves."

  • Adam: [after Lincoln's attempt to help the slaves] Bravo, Mr. Lincoln! Bravo. You're even better then I've heard. A shame to sacrafice so many of my best men... but I needed to know if you were up to the task.

Abraham Lincoln: [being held down by Vadoma] What do you want with me?

Adam: To see you liberated. To see you rise up and destroy your oppressor.

Abraham Lincoln: [angrily] That's interesting coming from a slave owner!

Adam: Men have enslaved each other... since they invented gods to forgive them for doing it.
