Doubts about the ending

The first half felt good, but the second half felt strange when I watched it. This feeling reached its peak when the film was awarded, and finally the award was awarded to Auggie, because he silently inspired the kindness of his classmates. However, this kind of silent stimulation is not due to Auggie's own noble qualities or efforts, but because of Auggie's inborn physical defects. Does this mean that we should award the awards to those disadvantaged groups who are born with defects only because of their defects? The awards are like a draft to select disadvantaged groups. I don't think the award should go to Auggie, it should go to all the people who came forward to help him, to his parents, to his sister and his sister's friends, to his teachers, to the principal , as it says in the film, a man should be judged by his actions, and those who helped him shine for their actions. Giving the award to Auggie just gave an on-topic happy ending.
