In general, the dazzling special effects of Hollywood science fiction films must be necessary, then the actors, then the subject matter (it is better to destroy the earth, if not, you must also destroy New York or something), and finally the story.
But this film obviously does not have a lot of budget. Although the story is a historical human discovery of alien creatures, there are basically no special effects. The set is a space capsule and there is no Martian technology. Apart from the imitation gravity system, it is basically like now. The same as the space station.
However, this one did not show up until the last second! This film is successful in telling the story. Through the interspersed plot, the entire exploration plan is told to the audience in a disorderly order. Although it is a bit flat and straightforward, there is no climax, but if you listen to this story carefully, you can still hold it to the last second. Yes, there is nothing earth-shattering, but it is indeed very successful through the slightly lengthy plot accumulation in the front, and it is released at the moment when the alien creatures are seen at the last second.
I like this story. Of course, I think it might be better to have a bit of money to get a luxurious version of space exploration...
If you want to classify it, I don’t even think it’s really science fiction, we can make the things inside. What a movie? This is a problem
