Leadership

People need to motivate, motivate others, motivate themselves.

A leader needs the ability to inspire others.

Be your own leader first and have the ability to motivate yourself.

Out of the night that covers me,

By covering my late night,

Black as the Pit from pole to pole,

I saw layers of bottomless darkness.

I thank whatever gods may be

Thank God for giving me,

For my unconquerable soul.

Unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance

Even if it is tightly grasped by hell,

I have not winced nor cried aloud.

I don't flinch or scream.

Under the bludgeoninmgs of chance

Having endured wave after wave of blows,

My head is bloody, but unbowed.

My head was full of blood and I didn't bow my head.

Beyond this place of wrath and tear

Out of this world of anger and tears,

Looms but the Horror of the shade,

Horrible shadows roam.

And yet the menace of the years

And, future threats,

Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

But I am not afraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,

No matter how narrow the door I shall pass through,

How charged with punishments the scroll,

No matter what punishment I will take on my shoulders.

I am the master of my fate:

I am the master of fate,

I am the captain of my soul.

I am the commander of the soul.

I came down to watch it for director Clint Eastwood and Damon Ge's acting skills. The second football-themed inspirational movie I've ever seen. It's not appropriate to say inspirational, it's a drama movie. Sports themes can arouse enthusiasm. But "Weekend Midnight Light" with the same theme is obviously too clever

Religions, sports, wars, and disasters can make countries, nations, and people more united and cohesive. The film shows a wise, sensible, and visionary leader rebuilding his country and restoring hope. Our party should learn to learn.

Invictus quotes

  • Nelson Mandela: If I cannot change when circumstances demand it, how can I expect others to?

  • Brenda Mazibuko: I'm sorry, Madiba, but we've got problems everywhere we look: housing, food, jobs, crime, our currency. You can't keep interrupting affairs of state to placate a minority!

Nelson Mandela: But I must. Because that minority still controls the police, the army, and the economy. If we lose them, we cannot address the other issues.

Brenda Mazibuko: So, this rugby is a political calculation...?

Nelson Mandela: It is a HUMAN calculation. If we take away what they cherish; the Springboks, their national anthem, we just reinforce the cycle of fear between us.
