tears welling up

Why does a country need sports?

Because sports really do not distinguish between race, gender, and ethnicity, it can be just because of love. Because of love, people of different skin colors cheered together, shouted together, cheered together, and their hearts became tighter together.

To play a better role in sports requires wisdom, tolerance, enthusiasm, love, and even greater people to accomplish all this.

Mandela did it, he inspired the captain, he inspired the team, he inspired South Africa.

The captain is great. He leads the team by example, he inspires the team, he leads everyone to victory, and he leads the team to see the country's support for them.

The team was great, they won games, they won plaudits from people of all colours in South Africa, they made South Africa more united.

The people of South Africa are also great. Because of their love, they let go of their hatred and embrace people of their own skin color.

A good movie makes me feel like I am the person in the story, experiencing everything in the story, it makes me frightened, uneasy, emotional, tearful, and reluctant to end it.

After it ended, I was delayed in returning to reality and immersed in the storyline for a long time.

It made me feel that my life is no longer single, no longer powerless, and gave me the courage to continue to work hard, with the eyes to find love, and the ability to feel life.

So, I need the movie, although it doesn't have to have an audience like me, thanks to all the people who brought it into the world.

There are too many places in the old cowboy's wishful thinking and nonsense. It is very tangled and sleepy.

  • [observing an Afrikaans newspaper headline]

Jason Tshabalala: I wonder what it says...

Nelson Mandela: [reads the headline] "He may win an election, but can he run a country?"

Jason Tshabalala: Not even your first day on the job, and they're already after you.

Nelson Mandela: It's a legitimate question...
