The Rugby world cup in 1995, more than a game, as one of the most respected politicians in the world, Mandela was released after 27 years in prison and became the then president in 1994. South Africa has just experienced various riots and abolished the racial system. The new president took office, and the social and economic relations including various races were delicate and tense. In this context, the rugby team mainly composed of white people is not as simple as an ordinary team. Originally I watched it for Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon. After seeing the final, I found out that the 1995 Rugby World Cup finals played against South Africa at home was actually All black.
