The three movies are deeply touching because of the father's love

Like Call Me By Your Name and "The Leftovers Are King", the father's dialogue moved people to tears, as if the entire movie was designed to pave the way for the final dialogue, which successfully achieved the effect of cathathis. The father of the first book understands his son's feelings beyond friendship with another man, and understands his pain. Even if the father of the second part sees his daughter unable to get married, he does not want her to be forced to make compromises due to the worldly vision. The father of this film knew that Molly had been cheating on her since she was five years old, and pointed out the crux of her crime when she was helpless.

"I have to find the villain and kill him, they can't just hurt my daughter like this."

A word that brought tears to my eyes.

The camera cuts quickly, the lines are large and fast, and I get tired of watching it quickly. . . The beautification of the characters is too false, in stark contrast to the chest of the model worker. . .

The script is beautifully written with clever wit and subtle echoes ~ Jessica Chastain's performance is impeccable but unsurprising...same as Sorkin's maiden director is just as safe but uninspired...it feels like It's a good American drama after watching two episodes in a row. XD

Molly Bloom: Don't even joke about that.

    Larry Bloom: I'm not.

Molly Bloom: It wasn't a purse snatcher, Dad. It was the mafia.

Larry Bloom: I don't care if it's the leader of the mob. Someone put their hand on you, they're gonna suffer.

    Molly Bloom: Dad, I'm fine.

Larry Bloom: No, they're gonna suffer.

Molly Bloom: Dad, I'm alright. Really, I'm fine.

  • Douglas Downey: There's a poem... a famous... uh... a poem about... thoughts left unexpressed. "Two roads emerged from the woods. Do they explode? I dunno" You like poetry?

Molly Bloom: I did until a second ago
