The piles of shelves in pawn shops, sheltering from the rain and listening to the nagging of the priests, quarrelling vendors, goddesses, restaurant bands and rich people, purely accidental events that have no necessary relationship with the main body constitute a small plot narrative, but the smallness of the narrative represents all beings and small people. Walking through the post-war background, you can intuitively feel the similar fate of unemployment at the bottom. For example, in the opening panning shot, the unemployed flock to the recruiting car, when the foreground wife makes a pawn off all the sheets to redeem the bicycle in the silence of carrying a bucket into the house. The decision, the husband is in a blurred background with a bucket, the relationship between the front and back spaces symbolizes that the decision to solve the family's survival crisis falls on the shoulders of the wife; the son blames the father for letting the old man drink soup and is slapped in the face. The shouting made the father worry about his son, from striding to running, the shaking of the camera strengthened the tense and real atmosphere.
