Arthur, the hero of this action movie, is a professional killer.
Killers are naturally ruthless.
At the beginning, he cleanly took down a drug organization leader. The next task was to ask him to kill his best friend, the old man Harry, who was already in a wheelchair. I thought he was going to have some mood swings or something. Unexpectedly, this guy killed the old man without saying a word.
The good show is yet to come, the old man's son wants to avenge his father and worships him to practice martial arts as a teacher. Follow him to kill people and learn his skills. But when this kid found out that he was the enemy who killed his father, and after struggling for a long time, finally took revenge, he fell into the trap he had set long ago and died.
Viewers who thought they would develop a touching teacher-student relationship or a comrade-like friendship expressed their shock. He was so cruel! As his friend Harry described it, the man was nothing short of a killing machine.
However, I don't think this killer is too cold.
First of all, he didn't kill anyone for money. The movie is clear from the beginning. His work is arranged by the government department to deter the most heinous criminals. That is to say, he is not an ordinary killer, but an excellent agent.
Secondly, he killed Harry because he was deceived by his superiors, thinking that Harry betrayed the organization. Therefore, he taught Harry's son to make up for the guilt in his heart.
In addition, he knew that he would be found but he didn't act first, and he hinted at that silly boy again and again.
In short, his heart will not be ruthless, but his professional quality determines that he will not be indecisive, and will always be calm and sober to prepare for everything. Victory favors the prepared.
What I admire most is that this cold-faced killer who does things neatly, never sloppy, and has a fit body, never shows mercy. (much stronger than 007) The female characters in the whole film basically have no sense of existence. That said, it's a very manly film. really not bad.
