And young people's excitement for war and their supposed unbiased understanding of justice make an otherwise good life incomprehensible, and appear as cold as winter without spies. On the battlefield against Germany, Tristin has only one goal, and that is to protect his younger brother, Shan Mo. When Shan Mo died in his arms, he cursed God.
