Why inspire me is the people over the sea.
At the beginning of the film, I was puzzled and even disgusted with the actions of the Seven Gentlemen in the film.
In the end, they were touched by their belief in nonviolent and peaceful protest.
Time has come to this day, and history has given the answer. The United States was the unjust teacher in the Vietnam War. Today, when we look at those people who opposed the Vietnam War in the United States at that time, we will feel that they were correct and moral. Sympathy arises spontaneously after seeing the unfair treatment of those who hold high the flag of righteousness.
But it was neglected that looking at them at the time, they may not be the same as they are now.
To be honest, if I were in the middle, I would probably be the group of people who followed the main theme.
National war, national conscription, how can we disobey the order regardless of the overall situation! They are a bunch of rats, doing things to avoid conscription. Anti-war slogans are just an excuse for their escape.
If I were an American citizen at the time, I would have avoided this group of street sign holders. Only when I was drawn on the draft list would I have the urge to follow them. But only dare to be impulsive
It's hard to understand what gave them courage. Hard to understand, only to escape fear.
But now, I can use the historical perspective to have an understanding.
Probably thought, is rational.
But it is only approximate, not certain.
Because there are so many people who told me that this film is an artistic praise, although it is adapted from reality, it is different from reality. And the purpose of the film's birth is not pure, it has a zz purpose.
