This was supposed to be a sad story

It's a sad movie, and the best movie I've seen in almost a year!
I don't want to analyze the writer's motivation and the theme of the film one by one like a film review. I just want to admit that I cried multiple times throughout the entire viewing. When a gentle father sits on the grass and tells his daughter the story of an old horse; when a stubborn father asks his daughter not to give up her dreams no matter what; when a violent father gives his daughter a terrified and bewildered look ; When a stubborn father asks his daughter not to give up his dreams no matter what; when a helpless father tells his daughter not to let money turn him into a robot; when a desperate mother steps into the icy river; when the heartbroken Jue's daughter roared coldly, "Didn't you say that you can make everything better? When... countless moments that seem dull but have the urge to cry.
When the white pigeons are hovering in the air, and the crisp pigeon whistles pass through the clear air, life will pass away so quietly, no matter what it leaves us... Big dreams will always collide in front of reality Decent, however, do you still insist on not compromising? Do you know the cost of not compromising?
I thought and thought about what exactly this movie touched my heart and made me so teary-eyed. I can't tell myself. Maybe it's because of the deep emotions hidden in the past, both love and hate, infinite nostalgia and desperate to get rid of, both want to remember in the heart and hope to pass away with the wind. It ignited the most beautiful, most proud, and least willing to give up things in his life, and at the same time made himself deeply aware of his humbleness and cowardice, so vulnerable in the face of reality. We struggle and humble ourselves with all that we despise with our own pride.
However, the human heart is actually kind. We are always willing to add a warm ending to all stories, because that is the only and eternal motivation for us to live with a smile!

Saving Mr. Banks quotes

  • P.L. Travers: [reading the script] 'Scene one, exterior, Seventeen Cherry Tree Lane, Day.' Yes, that's good. That can stay.

Richard Sherman: That's just a scene heading.

P.L. Travers: Though I do think we should say 'Number Seventeen,' instead of just 'Seventeen.'

Don DaGradiRobert Sherman: No one's going to see it!

P.L. Travers: *I* will see it.

  • P.L. Travers: The rumor is that this is to be your Mr. Van Dyke, is it?

    Richard Sherman: We hope so.

P.L. Travers: Hmm. We'll see about that, he's totally wrong. Totally and utterly.

Robert Sherman: Dick is one of the greats!

P.L. Travers: Dick Van Dyke? Robert, my dear, Olivier is one of the greats. Burton, Guinness, greats without question. I can assure you...

P.L. Travers: [speaking into the tape recorder] ... Dick Van Dyke is *NOT!*
