That year, a city drifted by

As a fan of Hayao Miyazaki's animation, I have watched many works, such as Hal's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Goldfish on the Cliff, Miko's Delivery Service, and Princess Mononoke. A classic. But for one reason or another, I just watched Castle in the Sky, another classic. Sure enough, it is all from the handwriting of Hayao Miyazaki, and I saw the shadow of many other works in the Castle in the Sky.

For example, the red-haired little girl from the little boy's teacher's mother's family is very similar to Ponyo, including the little girl's red-haired mother who also looks like Ponyo's mother (big man haha). The witch has a strong aura, and even the hillside that the little hero and heroine ran to when they escaped not long after the opening scene was very similar to the hillside that Sophie climbed out of breath when she ran away from home.

There are also various other familiar elements, such as flying machines that have appeared in many works, Hal's Moving Castle, and the Valley of the Wind. In short, I like Hayao Miyazaki's works very much. I hope that the master will continue to work hard and live a long life. Haha~

(two)

Hypocritical hypocrites who keep big dreams but can often take cruel measures for the so-called dreams, and villains who only care about gold and silver treasures can lend a helping hand because they appreciate the brilliance of human nature. It's a comparison and irony.

(three)

The interaction between the little heroine and the robot has a sense of sight of Tashi Modo and Esmeralda. I am ugly, but I am gentle.

(Four)

Hayao Miyazaki's works often discuss the relationship between man and nature, including the relationship between technology and life brought by man, and the results of the discussion are often distressing. The continuous development of human beings will inevitably lead to the progress of science and technology, and the progress of science and technology is often destructive to nature. The robots produced by Sky City are astonishingly powerful, and can be described as invulnerable. The firearms in Mononoke not only caused the demonization of the gods in the forest, but also indirectly destroyed the entire forest.

However, technology has a very positive side. Technology has accelerated the progress of human beings, and artificial intelligence has allowed human beings to see their infinite potential. For example, when you see the petrified and crooked robots in the city of the sky, you will feel very sad, just like a Living people lost their lives.

"The city faced the storm to welcome the owner of the flying stone", I was really moved to see this sentence. Technology does not understand the darkness of human nature, so technology is innocent, but once technology is manipulated by the darkness of human nature, technology will make people afraid.

I like Miyazaki Jun's painting style, simple and comfortable. Over the years, I have watched many animated movies and played many games. There are castles in the sky and robots. I think of the city in the sky. As a work in the early 90s, his imagination is so rich that it is unimaginable.

Castle in the Sky quotes

  • [when Pazu and Sheeta are preparing to launch in the kite]

Dola: Are you up there, Sheeta, my dear?

    Sheeta: Yes.

Dola: Best ya come down right now!

    Sheeta: But why?

    Dola: Uh? 'Cause you're a GIRL! A FEMALE! That's MAN'S work!

Sheeta: But YOU'RE female, Captain! And I was born up in the mountains, I can do this.

    Pazu: No, Sheeta!

    Sheeta: Be quiet!

    [to Dola]

Sheeta: And Pazu agrees with me!

    [Dola laughs hysterically]

  • Sheeta: The tree! We protected it, so it protects us!
