Unbroken

Although the story revolves around a single person, Julie is very atmospheric as it involves such a big theme as World War II. However, the story is not very clever, and even some cluttered and overly sensational. But this does not prevent me from admiring and supporting Julie's transformation as a director.
The film reminds me of "The Day of Landing" many times, and on the other hand, it reminds me of the old couple in "Lu Yanshi". I like "The Day of Landing" very much, especially Uncle Rang, who is so handsome. In fact, the Japanese officer in "Unbroken" is also quite handsome, but the film is too perverted and twisted. War is inevitable, but there are things above war, such as spirit, integrity or culture, which should be given the least respect. The two should have cherished each other, and should respect each other as a hero, how could they torture and abuse? Just like the Kuomintang should not kill Li Dazhao, or Cheng Dieyi in "Farewell My Concubine" who wants to spread the opera to Japan should not be called a traitor by Duan Xiaolou.
In addition, sometimes, people really rely on one breath to live.
In the end, being moved by Louis was not due to persistence, but to choose forgiveness.
