But I was a little disappointed after watching it, because the characters were very rich and legendary, from Olympic champions to combat heroes, to survivors drifting in the sea, to Japanese prisoners subjected to inhumane abuse, and then to the Olympic torch relay again at the end of World War II. During the process, I kept sighing that the protagonist's life was bumpy, how tenacious vitality was needed to face all these cruel life challenges!
If this film digs deeper and depicts the psychological journey of the characters, then this is definitely an inspirational blockbuster no less than "Forrest Gump" and "The Shawshank Redemption".
Although I am a little disappointed with the movie, I have developed a strong interest in the book "Indestructible". I have finished reading it as a delicacy during the winter vacation this month. I received a lot of goods. After reading the book, I like the movie a little more. The content that is not expressed in the film is in the book, and the scene that the book cannot express has been expressed in the film. The film and the book complement each other perfectly, bringing me a wonderful winter vacation viewing and reading experience.
