The title of the film is not very eye-catching, and it is easy to reminiscent of the content of an old wizard teaching his young apprentice magic. But when the narrator opened the film in a low voice, my heart couldn't help but sink deep into it.
The content of the film is very simple, and it is a story about saving mankind. In order to prevent Morgana from destroying the world, the righteous magician Balthazar began to complete the task given by Merlin - looking for the hero Merlin - Professor, although one of the dark lines - love intertwined and created a lot of small Trouble, but the ending is perfect.
Just like that, my heart was drawn by the plot and walked through the entire film.
This film is different from other similar Harry Potter films, it shows us a story connected with reality, the characters in the story do not give us a sense of remoteness, on the contrary, they make us feel real. Dave is just an ordinary student, and he will be moved when he sees girls. But his life was destined to be different from the moment he stepped into the magic shop and put on the ring.
In my mind, such a big hero should have shown extraordinary abilities from a young age. But Dave, as Balthazar said, is not confident and does not believe in his own abilities. His will is easily shaken, but he is also easy to generate passion. He subverts the image of a hero who is indomitable, but it is also more real.
In fact, sometimes you will find that even the most powerful enemy is vulnerable. In Harry Potter, Voldemort was defeated by a small "remove your weapon" spell, and Morgana died after being electrocuted. Maybe they never thought they would die so miserably. Sometimes I even suspect that the author couldn't figure it out, and ended up in such a way (hehe).
but. I still feel that recently, sci-fi movies always like to set the earth destroying or so-and-so destroying the earth and destroying human beings as the background, and then there will be heroes to stop it, and in the end, there will always be a peaceful return. And in the past, the hero always stopped the disaster before it happened, but now it is the first time to stop it after it happened. Such as "Blade of the Prince of Persia", "Guinea Pig Team" and so on.
But then again, it's pretty good that this film presents a stale content with a gripping plot. Especially the background music, can take you in.
Needless to say about the ending~~romantic!
