A warm version of "The Office"

When the movie started with Jeff sitting on the toilet and making a monologue, I was thinking, well, it's another little movie about the lives of little people. His last sentence can be used as the logline of the entire movie: Follow the signs, and you will uncover your destiny. I feel that this is not a simple little movie, but a little ambitious little movie. Then I was taken aback by the next scene, which was the sudden zoom of the lens. You must know that the filming techniques of documentaries and reality shows were despised by the movie for no reason. This movie brought in this rough technique. Either complements the plot, or destroys the movie completely. My overall feeling after watching the movie is like having just finished a meal of poor people's hot dogs made by a Michelin-starred chef. The small ones exceed the limitations of hot dogs but are endlessly memorable.

signs

Jeff lives in the basement of his mother's house. He has done nothing at the age of 30, but he has his reasons. He firmly believes that his life has a purpose and a mission, and he is waiting for this mission. It sounds like a bad reason for lazy people, and human inertia can also change the best original intention. But when he heard the name Kevin and pursued it with perseverance, he had to make people feel that the Americans were really a people of faith.

Life

Pat is the opposite of Jeff. He lives completely in the real world. Buying a car and buying a house is the number one elderly wife, so when he finds out that his wife may have an affair, he can't even care about the crash of the newly bought Porsche. He should be very similar to his mother, who lives in an ordinary life but loses his passion. Pat confessed to Jeff that he wanted to love but couldn't. His mother confessed to her colleagues that she would hate her sons. Human feelings are really unreliable things that can be wiped out by life and will. This is nothing new.

One Day
The wonderful thing is that in one day, the lives of the realists and the fantasyists were wonderfully handed over, and a series of wonderful and ordinary little things happened, and finally everyone came back to examine their own lives. In fact, the theme of this movie is a bit more than it can bear, but what is fashionable now is to trigger the interaction of the audience. If it causes people to reflect on their lives a little bit, then it has achieved its purpose. And it not only does this, but also introduces the "office"-style shaking lens and sharp zoom lens, and can be cleverly integrated into the plot. In my opinion, it is already a success.

My biggest feeling after watching this movie is that people are doing for their own future, and they rarely take the time to stop and think about what their mission is.
