Saturday Night Fever (1977)
is a movie rewatched for Glee S03E17 subtitles. I watched this film two years ago, but I watched too many movies and I can't remember the plot.
The movie tells the story of a young disco. The protagonist is 19 years old. He works in a paint shop every day and likes to go to disco on weekends. The protagonist is a master dancer, so many girls want to dance with him, and one of them wants to have sex with him. One day, the protagonist met a girl who was very good at dancing in the ballroom. He tried to find her and asked her to be her partner in the competition. The girl agreed. But after the two communicated, they found that they could only dance and could not communicate, because the lives of the two were completely different. After a while, the actor's brother who was a pastor resigned and went home, which made his parents very sad. When the actor brought his brother to the ballroom, the actor's friend told the priest that his girlfriend was pregnant. He didn't know what to do, so he asked around at a loss. Later, when the actor met the girl to practice dancing, because she broke the appointment and danced with other men, the actor left angrily. A few days later, the actor also fought with his brothers for an injured brother. On the day of the game, the actor and the girl reconcile, and the result of the game is that the two won the championship. But the protagonist thinks that Puerto Ricans can dance better. After giving them the money, he takes the girl to the car and prepares to have a relationship with her. The girl is reluctant, and the protagonist wants to force her to make the girl run away. That night, the girl who wanted to go to bed with the actor and the actor’s friends had a relationship one by one. Then several people were having fun on the bridge while the young man whose girlfriend was pregnant fell into the sea. The police did not find him afterwards. The next day, the actor decided to change his lifestyle because of the disappearance of his friend, learn from the girl, and came to her home to ask for her forgiveness.
This film is a youth film with the characteristics of the times. The theme is clear and the plot is simple. There is nothing special to write about. The reason that attracted me to watch this film again, I believe that is the same as everyone who likes this film, that is, the warm, dynamic and nice disco music in the whole film. The excellent music has made a movie with an ordinary plot like this one a classic, which is probably also a phenomenon in the movie world. In fact, when I first watched this film, I didn't pay attention to the music at all, I only paid attention to the plot. It seems that the plot of the movie is not necessarily the most important. Of course, I still want to thank Glee, how can I relive such a nice and beautiful movie?
As for the songs in the movie, there is nothing to say, after all, the music needs to be felt by yourself. However, the first capital of the song used in this film is a classic, and I really admire the film's director. Among the large number of disco songs, why are these selected? I haven't checked the information, so I don't know if it is because the music is popular, or because the music is popular, the music is popular? But in general, although disco is similar to music, every song in this film is still so fascinating even if you listen to it now. They are classics in the classics.

It is also New York in Woody Alle's eyes, New York in Wall Street, and New York in various chicken movies in the 21st century. Why hasn't it changed? I don’t understand! Another point is that movies about New York like to shoot the Hudson River and Brooklyn Bridge, probably because they are the landmarks of New York.
