Rhodes

It seems that everyone is lying, and the funniest thing is that even the ghosts are lying. The robber hopes that he is full of arrogance, and the woman hopes that she will not leave her. The ghosts are the most ridiculous, and they are unwilling to face themselves when they die.

The acting skills are excellent. After listening to the four stories, all of them acted well. The last part of the fight is very different from the part the robber said.

Judging from the plot, since the robber can bind the man (ghost) with such inferior means, it can be seen that he is also an ordinary person. Bandit spirit is also commonplace. The woman was also pathetic. She thought she could go with the winner, but in the end both were losers.

Of course the fun part of the story is their confession, which in such a serious place becomes a show.

Some people say that Kurosawa likes to leave a trace of light in the dark. Probably refers to the end of the film, when the woodcutter picks up the baby. Of course I don't think so, maybe, he's going to sell kids anyway

Look at the night of the three religions in Fudan. Stepped out of the classroom, but couldn't get out of Kurosawa Akira.

#重看# created a classic multi-angle narrative mode, and "Rashomon" has since become the most important proper term in film history; there is no ending to the truth, and the language labyrinth intertwined with multi-faceted narratives can still restore humanity. The darkness; simple and neat editing, rapid and compact drum beats, Kurosawa Akira's magnificent and majestic weather pattern, sky light and cloud shadows, wind and rain, and Eastern aesthetic connotations.

Rashomon quotes

  • Priest: War, earthquake, winds, fire, famine, the plague. Year after year, it's been nothing but disasters. And bandits descend upon us every night. I've seen so many men getting killed like insects, but even I have never heard a story as horrible as this. Yes. So horrible. This time, I may finally lose my faith in the human soul. It's worse than worse than bandits, the plague, famine, fire or wars.

  • Commoner: Well, men are only men. That's why they lie. They can't tell the truth, even to themselves.

Priest: That may be true. Because men are weak, they lie to deceive themselves.

Commoner: Not another sermon! I don't mind a lie if it's interesting.
