The original work, the script, and the movie have all been read superficially. The movie is basically unchanged on the basis of the original work, and the original work has been sublimated.
The film adopts a narrative method, and only a few characters are used to explain a complex matter. There are no redundant characters, no redundant lines, no redundant shots, and everything is streamlined just right.
The three parties have different accounts of the incident. The robber wanted to cover up his weakness and blamed the woman in order to highlight his strength; the woman pretended to be pitiful in order to cover up her thoughts of "killing her husband"; the man wanted to cover up his "disgusting wife" And the weak....everyone lied in different passages, the catastrophe tested the humanity of three people, and none of them survived the test.
At the end of the film, it still returns to kindness, points out the theme, and brings a little light to the originally dark world.
