"This is the second time. I'm still crying at the same point." That's
true. It directly caused the clothes on Mr. D's right shoulder to be wet with my tears.
After leaning on Mr. D's shoulder and crying for a while, he probably felt that the tears were too hard, so he sat up straight.
Just like the first time I watched this movie, I covered my mouth and choked at many nodes and kept wiping the tears with my fingers.
Originally need to send a book review to the public account as a tweet.
I have a small feeling to the editor. "I'll replace the book review with a movie review."
Xiaogan said to me. "It's worth a second to show that the movie is good,"
I said evilly. "Write a movie review with serious spoilers."
Xiaogan said bluntly. "Haha. Yes." The
title of this review is taken from a sentence in the film that I'm not sure if it's Jimmy or Mike.
So.
This is a seriously spoiler movie review.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here is still the warm dividing line I reserved for you~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This
film is adapted from A true event, telling the story of a team of oil workers who fought the disaster with unparalleled courage and firm will to save themselves when faced with the worst man-made disaster in history.
The question at the beginning of the film. My first impression was the courtroom scene. Serious and heavy. At one point I thought the court that was about to be the opening didn't show up. Everything seems to presage us to think about a question: which link went wrong?
Then came the small daily routine of the Mike and his wife before they parted. Mike looked deeply into his wife's eyes. And the little game between the husband and wife that is still being continued on the boat is just right to show the intimacy of the two feelings. It laid a good foundation for the series of reactions of his wife after Mike's death and his escape.
The breakfast time before departure lays three important foreshadowings in the film.
Mike looked at his lovely daughter with a doting face and a smile on his face as he was well prepared for the school speech.
Foreshadowing 1: In this wonderful speech of my daughter, I made a "bad" conclusion in advance for "bad guys" such as BP Zhongtang.
Foreshadowing 2: The little plot where the daughter asked Mike for fossils because of being shown off by her classmates on the grounds of being a real penguin happened to correspond to the dinosaur tooth fossils that Mike received from a friend later.
Foreshadowing 3: I wanted to increase the persuasiveness and authenticity of the speech through the Coke experiment. But just when he was performing in front of Mike, the phenomenon of "well flow" occurred. Excessive pressure causes the syrup at the mouth of the cola bottle to fail and the cola spews upward to form a slush appearance.
The front and back of these small details should be so striking when I brushed them for the second time. Those moments when I unconsciously connect in my mind feel that life is connected everywhere.
What happened to the main two men and one woman (Mike, Jimmy, Andrea) before reaching the Deepwater Horizon rig also served as a few omens that the gears of fate had turned.
Omen 1: When Mike was refueling, his wife was talking about "make money, make money and make money". Then he suddenly said to his wife all kinds of passwords and insurance and other will-like words. He still has lingering fears after being ridiculed by his wife. In his explanation, he mentioned that the plane incident on the last return trip happened to correspond to the plane crashing into a bird on the next departure.
Omen 2: After entering the waiting room, Jimmy met a company executive wearing a purple tie, indicating the highest level of danger warning on the platform. At that time, the executive had a slightly contemptuous smile on his lips after he took off his tie due to Jimmy's superstition, as well as a scene of smiling at the people around him. The panic when they saw them fleeing from the back was really shocking.
Omen 3: As soon as Andrea's classic car appeared in the movie theater, men who knew a little about cars also whispered comments. The sudden rumbling sound that comes to mind after the car fails to start I can always think of a piece again later in the film when the explosion of the drilling rig sounds.
Mike and Andrea's discussion of her classic car runs through three points.
Before: On the flight to the rig
Middle: Arriving at the rig
Before : After the rig collapsed and needed self-rescue
After several protagonists arrived at Deepwater Horizon and got off the plane, the film immediately cast out the initiator and source of the accident. Immediately, some moviegoers in the movie theater began to swear in detail that "there must be a problem because there is no inspection".
Through the shaping of the image of Jimmy's extreme responsibility for the safety of the workers, the inhumanity of such characters as Tang can be contrasted more clearly, and the disgust and even hatred of him in people's hearts is thus solidified. There are many such profiteers in our lives who will do anything to achieve their goals. At the same time, because of Jimmy's good image here (negotiated with evil forces to win the negative pressure test, was rated as the safest rig leader several times, and the tired feeling of reluctance to agree after opposing any action under unknown circumstances) is very popular. It also highlights the guilt he felt after the incident, intending to make up as much as possible through actions. The acting skills of the old actors are in place. The main emotions are good at conveying from facial expressions and eyes.
This film is still typical of American personal heroism. Clearly visible through several rescue operations.
Action 1: Mike walked out of the room after being injured and met Doug who fell to the ground in the corridor and insisted to rescue him and told others in front of the lifeboat to evacuate him safely.
Action 2: Mike still gave up the opportunity to get on the lifeboat even though he was injured and returned to the cabin to search and rescue Jimmy again.
Action 3: After Mike met a colleague in the corridor, he did not forget to tell him to quickly gather at the lifeboat and guide the way.
Action 4: After Mike and Jimmy heard the call for help, they started looking for the source of the call.
Action 5: Dale climbs up on the crane he normally works on because he thinks everyone will die if he doesn't. (There is a feeling here: In fact, the time of the explosion is very short, but the film deliberately keeps the camera at the moment when he looks up at the sky and looks at the sparks. We all think he is a hero. He was successful, but he did not come back alive.)
Action 6: The only thing Jimmy said to Don after seeing him was "Get out of the lifeboat" was pretty cool.
Action 7: After discovering that he was abandoned by the lifeboat, a divine presence like Mike, who calmly thought of a solution, was simply the protagonist's halo.
Action 8: Mike didn't leave Andrea anyway and chose to jump down in the fire chase after he made sure Andrea jumped down, which super highlights his heroism as a big man.
Even if the film is very deliberate after the death to describe the importance of the government personnel on the incident. In particular, the method of level progression is used very well. From the change in the operator's expression to the urgent writing in the tone of voice, to the rapid retrieval of satellite images to find out the situation, and finally to the supervisor to issue an order. It's a pity that the government's rescue overtime and incompetence also insinuate that the government's incompetence is often realistic.
It is very stressful for those who survived the very difficult escape from the rig to be in front of the families of those deceased colleagues. Just like Mike's extreme discomfort when he was questioned by the collar. Not only because of his physical trauma, but more from his inner fear and confusion. In the end, whether I have done well enough or not, whether I can do better, why did I survive or some people did not survive. These are the troubles and knots of good people. He suffers, he struggles, he rests. So the appearance of his wife and daughter happened to be the sunshine to warm him. This is also the family warmth and dependence reflected at the end of the film.
The courtroom scene was placed at the end of the film. Really serious and heavy. The death toll was 11. Maybe that doesn't seem like a big number. But it was a devastating ending for the 11 families. A moment of silence for the passing of these lives.
After the movie ended, I got home. Mr. D told me. "The most regrettable thing is that those two people didn't die."
I said to Mr. D. "Because this is the end of real events. It cannot be rewritten."
Fate is so unfair sometimes. We can't do it.
All life should be respected and cherished. Nothing is above life.
IN THE END..
Wishing each of us a good deed every day. Love life. Stay away from catastrophe.
