I finally watched "Absolutely, Maybe", from Valentine's Day until now, although it still doesn't have subtitles. I prefer another name, "One of Three Loves", and there is more than one love in my life. "Little Sunshine" is very precocious. The little girls in such warm movies in the United States are generally precocious. They can calmly become curious about love and sex, and even curious about their father's love history. Things like "sex education classes" are very convenient, and can make dad honestly confess "love history". Three loves, each of which is beautiful, and each has a beautiful woman. They each have their own cuteness and their own shortcomings. They are like different fragrant flowers, and they can't put it down. Emily is as sweet as her own name; Summer is mysterious and charming; April is passionate and unrestrained... It doesn't matter who is Will's real daughter, who is Maya's real mother, or not. They complement each other, they are different, they both evoke the love in Will, but they both come out of Will's life. A friend once said that every man has his own unforgettable cherry blossom petals in his heart. Others say that every man has three flowers in his heart: cherry blossoms, roses, and Milan. Love is actually a selfish, extravagant, greedy, exclusive thing, it is best to hold all the light in your hands. It feels like this is a woman's movie in the eyes of a man, including the little girl Maya.
Regarding the plot, there is nothing to introduce, another two-sentence movie that you have to watch to understand. Maybe this kind of American youth romantic drama will feel sour after watching too much, but it's really not bad to watch it occasionally. Three interspersed love stories, no-brainer to watch quietly. At least I can learn how to propose marriage: I love you to the core, I really don't know what else to do except marry you...I don't have much thoughts after watching it, the smell of lemon chrysanthemum tea. Very American film, very New York film, very adult film - mature adult rather than adult at the level, that kind of emotional topic that seems to say something, about men and women, about adult love, about feelings. According to my recommendation level is: read it or not, there is no loss if you haven't read it.
