"Robots and Frank": A robot is here at home

A widow and lonely old man, living alone all day long, and committing a little dementia from time to time, is not welcomed by the neighbors, and self-care has become the biggest problem. One day, my son bought an all-powerful robot to accompany the elderly. Not only could he do everything for washing and cooking, he could also accompany him to groan around and complete various life tasks together. The quiet and indifferent little home instantly became organized and full of vitality, and it also inspired the "creative inspiration" of the old man to plan the task of stealing neighbors from the mansion and complete it with the robot. The daughter's sudden visit disrupted all plans and shut down the robot to prohibit action. After the extremely bad old man made her daughter anxious, he finally turned on the robot again and completed the dangerous task as he wished. Next, there will be a cat-and-mouse game with the police, and a scene where the love between humans and robots is not reached, which is more than touching and powerful. And all this makes the life of the elderly "vibrant" because of the robots in their homes.

Although this is a serious story about the lonely old man, it can be regarded as a small-cost literary science fiction film. It became famous at the Sundance Film Festival and won the grand prize because of joining the old life of caring for the elderly. The film not only asks questions, but also comes up with solutions. Although there are many ideas worthy of scrutiny, it is a coup that makes people's eyes shine. After a lot of interesting and thrilling heartbeats have passed, it leaves a deep thought for everyone, who should take care of the elderly? Or how to take care of them? If there is no human hand, can the robot replace the empty family and the empty mind? Even if it is still an illusion of extravagant hope for the current human beings, it is better to have an illusion than nothing. Because this is a thorny issue that humans are facing sooner or later, even now.
