little people

The scene is built first-class. Great shape.
It's interesting that the writers put a lot of thought into magnifying the role of little people in big history. Lucius and Polo made me feel like American soldiers at first, but then I found out that they are the most interesting characters in the play, the so-called flesh and blood. The screenwriter's ability to link an illegitimate child scam to the successful assassination of Caesar is still unexpected.

Also interesting is the image of the woman inside. I personally like the image of the woman Selvera. Especially love her lips and eyes. The lips are old and wrinkled dry; the eyes are moist and deep. She is a very temperamental middle-aged woman. When expressing love and longing, it is not as moving as the expression of resentment, perseverance and sadness later.

Also interesting is the Queen of Egypt. Her voice is the most delicate, thinnest, and most coquettish in the whole play. The face and body are reminiscent of Natalie Portman stealing her heart. Probably the weakest and most hippie Egyptian queen in history. :)

Rome quotes

  • Gaius Julius Caesar: He refuses to meet me!

  • Cassius: Look now. Look at that.

Marcus Junius Brutus: It is a chair. What of it?

    Cassius: A chair? It's a throne!

Marcus Junius Brutus: I believe thrones are generally more decorative. That is decidedly plain, and chair-like.
